World Breastfeeding Week: Promoting breastfeeding and skin-to-skin contact

CISSS de la Montérégie-Ouest
On the occasion of World Breastfeeding Week, from October 1 to 7, the birth units at Anna-Laberge Hospital and Hôpital du Suroît are mobilizing to promote the benefits of breastfeeding and the importance of skin-to-skin contact, also known as the "kangaroo method." These practices not only support the health of newborns but also strengthen the bond between parents and their baby.
Various activities and games will be offered to raise awareness among families and support new mothers in their breastfeeding journey.
